JOHN LUCIANO

John Luciano has over 35 years experience maintaining, installing and designing quality landscapes from New York to Oregon and Baja. As a teenager in New York, he would spend his summers manicuring landscapes at estates in the Hamptons. Recognizing his passion for using natural materials to create and mimic nature in landscape settings, he pursued degrees in Horticulture and Landscape Architecture from Syracuse University’s School of Environmental Science and Forestry. After a road trip to Alaska with a stop in Oregon, he decided moved to Bend to snowboard at Mt Bachelor. When he finished his degrees, he put packs on his Marin bike and peddled from New York back to Oregon. In 1995 the landscape industry was pretty quiet in Central Oregon. Bend Street Tree Project brought John on to help plant trees around town, many of which stand tall and beautiful to this day. Since that first year in town, John has been highlighting the high desert’s beauty and adding unmatched lasting value to landscapes. John has an artisan approach to his work in which quality is always a priority. His creativity, love of native plants & nature, and amazing rock placement is recognized in landscapes throughout Central Oregon.
